I am pleased to be able to offer Reflexology as well as Bowen therapy now.
I decided to become a Reflexologist purely by accident. I had been reading up about the Zone Facelift, created by Ziggie Bergman and thought it looked really interesting. It has been hailed as the natural alternative to Botox and is featured in many glossy magazines. I contacted Ziggie about starting my training with her and she told me that I would need to be a qualified Reflexologist before I could begin any training for the Zone Facelift.
I hadn't banked on this, but thought, "well, if that's what I have to do, I will do it".
I set about finding a course and found that I enjoyed both giving and having reflexology. It's so relaxing - as much as I tried to stay awake during the treatment, I never quite managed it - that's when I am having it myself - not when I am giving a treatment!
I had initially thought of it as a means to an end - but now I have experienced the therapeutic benefits - as has everyone that has allowed me to practice on them, I am happy to offer it as another therapy.
I'm booked onto the Facial Reflexology, Advanced Facial Reflexology and Zone Facelift courses in September and very much looking forward to learning another new skill.
